Our story
basetaospreadsheet.org grew out of a simple frustration. Years ago, ordering from China meant juggling agent dashboards, topping up wallets, waiting days for support, and discovering shipping costs only at checkout. We had spent years inside that world — sourcing footwear, apparel and accessories directly from factories since 2015 — and we kept hearing the same complaint from friends and customers: the products were great, but the process was painful.
So we built the opposite of a dashboard. Instead of making you do the work, we put a real person on the other end of a WhatsApp chat. You send a photo, we handle the sourcing, inspection, packing and shipping, and we tell you the full landed cost — item, shipping and duty — before you commit a cent. Over time that simple promise turned into a network of more than forty specialist factories and over twenty thousand shipped orders across Europe, North America, Latin America and Australia.
What we do — and don't do
We are a guide and a direct sourcing service. The guide side of the site explains how Taobao spreadsheets, agents, QC and international shipping work in 2026, honestly, including the parts that are inconvenient for us to admit — like the fact that the $800 US duty-free allowance ended in 2025 and most China parcels now attract customs. The service side is the WhatsApp line where we actually place and ship your order.
What we don't do: we don't run an agent platform, we are not basetao.net, and we don't pretend to be. When we discuss BaseTao, Superbuy or any other agent, we do it as an independent reviewer who happens to offer a competing service — and we disclose that openly on every comparison page.
